Rescue helicopter airlifts Highland patient 7/11/14
The Stornoway Coastguard search and rescue helicopter was tasked last night to an NHS patient in the remote north west village Inverie.
Mallaig RNLI lifeboat was also launched to attend.
The Coastguard chopper was tasked just after 9pm.
The crew picked up the patient and transferred them to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for further treatment.
