The temporary ferry due to take over from on the Sound of Harris route has been delayed.
A chain of events has prevented the MV Loch Portain going for her annual refit.
The MV Loch Alainn has yet to start on the Sound of Barra crossings.
Thus the MV Loch Bhrusda has not been able to head north and act as relief ferry for the Berneray to Leverburgh route.
However, the Loch Portain is following the amended temporary timetable which means afternoon crossings leave earlier than usual.
