Two refit delayed ferries are due to return to the Western Isles.

The Stornoway ferry, MV Isle of Lewis, has finally left drydock in Birkenhead on the River Mersey after her maintenance programme stretched from a fortnight into five weeks. The ship’s northward voyage is expected to be delayed by a storm off the west coast.
