Islander banned from village 14/7/14
A Lewis resident has been banned from entering the North Loch’s village of Ranish.
Joshua Hedley appeared in Stornoway Sheriff Court following a disturbance at an address
in the township on Friday.
The 29-year-old pleaded not guilty to assaulting a female by grabbing her arm.
He also admitted breaking her mobile phone by seizing it and throwing it to the floor.
Trial was set for November.
Hedley was released on bail to 44 Kenneth Street, Stornoway, on condition he does
not enter Ranish.
Neither is he allowed to go near or contact the woman.
