Quality Assurance Officer

What you can expect

Reporting to the QA Manager, you will carry out batch record reviews as required on final & intermediate products, raw materials and cleaning records.  You will also oversee and maintain the Quality Management System. This will encompass administration of electronic data in master control, co-ordination and quality approval of corrective and preventative actions (CAPA’s), change control, deviation, document management and initial laboratory investigations. You will participate in the Company self-inspection programme, customer audits and regulatory inspections and liaise with auditor/auditees during on-site audit and inspection activities.  You will be involved with the development, management and implementation of responses to audits and perform audits of suppliers and self- inspections. You will participate in and deliver training as required in areas of GMP compliance, the use of master control and general site procedures, and when required, prepare, authorise and apply QA Approved labels. You will also manage and maintain QA filing systems (electronic and paper).

 

What we expect

Ideally, you will have a minimum of an HND in Chemistry or other science related subject, although other qualifications will be considered.  You must be able to prioritise and work to deadlines, and have excellent communication skills (written/verbal). Experience of working in a quality function (QA, QC or regulatory) in the Pharmaceutical (Chemical or Bio-pharma) sector would be advantageous.  Previous working knowledge of EUGMP/CGMP and ICH standards is desirable, as is a knowledge and understanding of appropriate GMP Regulations (e.g. Eudralex volume 4).
