Photos: Pipebands tune up for Princess Anne in Lochmaddy 3/9/14
Princess Anne’s helicopter landed by DR Macleod’s yard and she was chauffeured to the harbour, escorted by Deputy Lord Lieutenant George Macdonald. Sgoil Lionacleit Pipeband and the Uist Pipeband struck up a tune on her arrival.
Around 400 people attended the opening opening ceremony for Lochmaddy Marina, including all the island’s school children.
