Pop-up food shop during refurbishment work

The Co-op is opening a pop-up shop in North Uist next week while its permanent store is being refurbished.

The Sollas shop will close from Friday as work commences on a month long refit.

A temporary food store will open at Taigh Sgìre Sholais community centre just along the road on Monday 11 September at 8am. Trading hours will be 8am to 7pm.

The Co-op said: “We will not have our normal range but a large selection of fresh and groceries will be available.

“Please note we will be unable to accept cards and will be a cash only store.

“We will look forward to seeing you at our temporary shop and thank you all for your support.”

The retailer thanked the community centre for the use of their premises.
