Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a report of a sneak-in theft in Stornoway.
A laptop and bank card were stolen from a property on Kenneth Street.
The items were last seen around 4.30pm on Thursday afternoon and were confirmed missing around 8am the following morning.
The thief is suspected to have entered the address unnoticed during that period.
Anyone with information relevant to this investigation is asked to contact police at Stornoway on 101.
