Point FC won the Jock Stein Cup for the second year running against Westside at Goathill Park on Friday night.

The 3-1 score foiled the Siaraich's attempts to exact revenge for their 2015 defeat in the same final.

Ali “Barvas” Macleod opened the scoring for Westside within 20 minutes. But Andrew Murray was in close range position to head home the equaliser before half time.

The Rudhaich dominated the second half with a goal from Alasdair Gillies and another by Andrew Murray clinching the trophy.

Man-of-the-match was Point's Elliot Rudall.
