Job Title:     Project Co-ordinator –  An Cogadh Mòr  

 

Accountable to:    Creative Director + PNE Board of Directors

Hours of Work:     Full-time

Rate of Pay:          £26,000

Base:                     Stornoway

Contract:               Fixed Term 12 months  

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual possessing heritage skills and competencies, in addition to having the ability to translate these into cultural messages. The role requires someone with strong organisational and communication skills to be the Lead Officer co-ordinating and delivering the Discovering Gaelic Heritage from the Great War Project. The Great War Project will focus on the Western Isles.

 

The Project Co-ordinator role will be carried out working at the PNE base in Stornoway to co-ordinate/deliver the Project, liaising with local community stakeholders, target participants and schools throughout the Outer Hebrides. Gaelic is essential.

 

This is a senior management role which requires close and effective working relationships with all partners in the target groups, in order to successfully co-ordinate and deliver the Project within agreed objectives, outcomes, timescales and budgets.
