Christmas plane service disruptions

Loganair is making major changes to its services on Friday due to the incoming storm.

The airline is “re-timing” 27 flights across the north of Scotland on Friday to operate earlier, ahead of forecast weather deteriorations.

Another ten services are cancel where forecasts indicate “no reasonable prospect” of being able to operate.

A spokesman said: ““Safety always remains our primary consideration in making any such decisions.”
