The Pentland Road in Lewis faces a five week closure due to road works.
The Creed Bridge span is being upgraded and engineers say it is not possible to carry out the works without shutting the single track route.
The closure is planned between 20th March and 24th April.
Access for vehicles will be made available from either direction up to the point of the road closure at the bridge.
Restricted and managed access will be made available on request for pedestrians.
