While I welcome technology when used to our advantage as we often use it now in everyday tasks, there are two forthcoming ideas I see, should they ever come to fruition in my lifetime, I would never contemplate using.

One is driverless vehicles, the other is stepping aboard an aircraft with the knowledge that there is no one in the control tower. For me, these are two suggestions that shows an over reliance on technology.

Life as we know can throw up many unexpected events that a computer cannot be programmed to look out for and react with the life saving impulse of a human.

I sincerely hope these two science fiction ideas never see the light of day.
