Present out-of-hours service to stop at GP surgery 17/9/14

NHS Western Isles is set to update the north Harris community on how it will deliver an out-of-hours service.

Changes for providing healthcare services overnight and at weekends was sparked by the departure of two GPs at the North Harris surgery.

The medial practice will will no longer be able to provide out-of-hours cover for patients due to the departure of one GP earlier this year and the anticipated retirement of another in December.
