Police in the Western Isles are appealing for witnesses following a report of otters being scared and chased by by a dog in North Uist.
The incident happened on Clachan Sands beach area around 11am on Tuesday.
Officers want to speak to a man who was seen in the area with a husky dog, which was said to be worrying otters on the beach.
