As a customer of Orange I agree with MP Angus B MacNeil but has he all the facts?
I phoned to find out what was going on and was told the following:
The Uig mast serves a lot of monthly and PAYG contracts. It was under an upgrade and the reason for it taking so long for a completion date (30th March) was that they needed access permission and planning permission. They could not just walk onto the land.
So I would like to ask what is the problem at this site?
Too much red tape, land owner dragging his boots or EE (Orange) passing the buck?
