A 16-year-old who obstructed emergency nursing staff at the Stornoway hospital has appeared in court.

Natalie Frobisher pleaded guilty to persistently sitting on the floor at the accident and emergency department. She refused to get up, was shouting, swearing, making offensive remarks and verbally threatening violence.

The teenager of 5 Macleod Road, Stornoway, also admitted resisting arrest.

At Stornoway Sheriff Court, sheriff David Sutherland called for background reports before sentencing.
