A motorist caught driving with no insurance has been fined £150.
Adam Frizzel of Troon also received six points on his licence.
At Stornoway Sheriff Court he pleaded guilty to the offence.
Frizzel was stopped by police on Willowglen Road, Stornoway, in November.
