Two people out celebrating the start of the new year were arrested following a reported disturbance.
An incident occurred in licensed premises in Stornoway at 12.45am on Thursday morning.
The men, aged 27 and 23 years, were taken to Stornoway Police Station.
While being searched at the Stornoway station, one of the men was allegedly found to be in possession of herbal cannabis.
The pair are due to appear in court at a future date.
