An online resource package has been designed to help Gaelic medium education tutors support children needing extra help with speech and language.
The resource from Stòrlann Naiseanta na Gàidhlig followed an audit on additional support needs and staff training in the sector.
Its focuses on the development of assessment and support tools and methods which take account of the distinctive nature of Gaelic medium education.
Contributions came from speech and language therapists, specialist teachers, psychologists, bilingualism academics and managers of ASN support services in schools.
