Two post offices are set to open in Stornoway to replace the Bayhead branch.
Under the plan the new post offices would be at Campbells Filling Station on Cannery Road and at the Cearns Shop. Both premises are owned by Angus Campbell.

The new branches would operate the same opening hours as each shop meaning services would be available in the evening and all day Saturday.
Should the move go ahead, the Cearns branch would open from 9am-
The Newton branch in the petrol station would open 7am -
The Post Office is now inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments
on the move in a six-
It said the proposed move is in agreement with the current postmaster, who wishes to leave the network.
