► Green light for new North Uist school
A public exhibition about the plans for the new North Uist school s taking place in Lochmaddy Hall this (Thurs) evening.
Artists drawings and mock images of the current site and the building plans for the campus will be on display.
Representatives from project team will be present at the event to answer questions.
Planning permission to build the centralised Sgoil Uibhist an Tuath on the existing Paible School site was granted last month.
The facility will serve all of North Uist and Berneray.
The public exhibition runs from 6.30pm to 8pm.
