Rev Alasdair J Macleod (pictured above) is to be ordained and inducted as minister of the Knock & Point congregation of the Free Church (Continuing).
The induction service takes place at 7pm on Friday at the Free Church Continuing by Seaview, Point.
Mr Macleod, 28, is a son of Rev William Macleod, minister of Knightswood Free Church
(Continuing).

After schooling in Portree he studied Scottish History and English Literature at Glasgow University followed by a Master’s in History before entering the Free Church Seminary. He is married with one son.
The induction service will be conducted by the Moderator of Presbytery, Rev Kenneth Macdonald, Scalpay, assisted by Rev Greg MacDonald and Rev Graeme Craig.
A reception will take place afterwards in Sandwick Hall.
All are warmly invited to join with the congregation for the event.
The congregation has been without a permanent pastor since Rev James Clark left to Inverness.
