Norman M MacLeod has been appointed as the new chairman of Hebridean Housing Partnership (HHP).
He was elected at a HHP board meeting and takes over from Iain MacMillan, who has stepped down.
Mr MacLeod has considerable experience of the housing sector and local business environmen.
He served as a local councillor for several years and also previously the Western Isles manager for Scottish Fuels.
Mr Macleod said he was “delighted” with his new role.
He added: “I am looking forward to this new challenge, to be part of HHP, as we move forward in providing new quality homes that will meet the needs of our communities in the Outer Hebrides for the foreseeable future.”
