An exhibition to celebrate the RNLI will be held in the Environment Hub (former Lochmaddy
Primary School) in North Uist.
Island lifeboat stations, services, and individuals will be highlighted.
Displays on the history and work of other emergency services - ambulance, coastguard,
fire and police - whose members also provide a dedicated and invaluable service to
the community will also be shown.
The grand opening of the exhibition will take place on 27th April (11am to 2pm).
It is hoped to have an ambulance, fire appliance and police car present, with members
of these services on hand to show the vehicles and answer questions.
Light refreshments will be available in the Environment Hub.
From the end of April the exhibition will open from 11am to 3pm daily except Sundays
until Saturday 11th May.
New exhibition will celebrate the RNLI
