Local development group buys hotel 1/10/14
An island community regeneration trust has purchased a local small hotel to convert into offices.
Horshader Community Development group has bought the Inn Between in Shawbost for an undisclosed price.
But the premises was due to be auctioned later this month.
It has been valued at £325,000 but the price was recently slashed to offers over £120,000.
The Horshader trust operates a community turbine to generate an income for the South Shawbost, Dalmore and Dalbeg villages.
It will use the building as its base for development work
