The Western Isles will host a major military exercise when Exercise Joint Warrior gets underway this coming weekend.
One of the largest war games in Europe, Joint Warrior will see maritime activity with ships from Denmark, Belgium, Estonia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the US.
The exercise begins on March 26 and runs on until April 6.
Local GPS devices may be jammed during the exercise.
