National Youth Choir seek singers 6/5/14

NYCoS Isle of Lewis Choir is seeking new singers.

Children from Primary 3 and Primary 4 in the Western Isles are invited to attend a free recruitment workshop on Wednesday 18 June by registering online at www.nycos.co.uk.

The half-hour event is an informal way to try out fun singing games and rhymes with others.

The choir is part of the National Youth Choir of Scotland, the organisation dedicated to encouraging singing for children and young people.

Choirs meet for rehearsals weekly where small groups take part in musicianship games and a full singing session.

The NYCoS Isle of Lewis Choir is run in partnership with Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, and this year’s summer term concert will take place at Stornoway Primary School on Wednesday 11 June at 7pm.
