Full speed ahead for MV Clansman      30/7/10

Major repairs to the broken down MV Clansman are now complete and she has arrived in Oban ready to restart sailings to Uist and Barra after six weeks out of action.

The ferry will now pick up this afternoon’s 2.15pm sailing to Castlebay - which is part of the temporary  schedule.

The interim timetable for services between Oban and Mull, Colonsay, Islay, Coll, Tiree, Barra and Uist will continue to operate until 6am tomorrow (Saturday 31 July.)

From then sailings will return to the normal timetable.
