Museum nan Eilean

to host Heritage Horizon Traineeships

Museum nan Eilean has been successful in its application to Museums Galleries Scotland for 2 Heritage Horizon Traineeships.

The trainee placements are from February 2015 to January 2016 and the trainee receives a stipend of £15,000 for the year paid up front in quarterly amounts.

Funded by The Heritage Lottery Fund Skills for the Future, the MGS Heritage Horizons Traineeship Programme will provide the opportunity for non-graduate trainees from a range of backgrounds to attain an SVQ Level 3 vocational qualification in Museums Practice alongside workplace learning during a 12 month paid placement.

The deadline for applications is 5pm, Monday 24th November
