Multi-skilled Craftsperson

What you can expect

Whilst ensuring that all work activities are carried out in accordance with the BASF Responsible Care Management System and all relevant statutory regulations and engineering standards, you will work as a multi-skilled crafts person across all disciplines in a GMP environment. To achieve this you will carry out duties where competence has been demonstrated to maintain plant and equipment such that production delays and maintenance costs are minimized and plant availability is maximized. In addition, you will contribute to planning and organising of all tasks, arranging tools and materials where necessary and use the BASF computerized maintenance management system, SAP. You will contribute to reviews of plant performance and ideas for continuous improvement, and provide practical training to operations staff in support of autonomous maintenance.

 

What we expect

Ideally, you will have completed an electrical apprenticeship and have post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing or production facility. You will be computer literate and have the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion within a team environment.
