An island man was injured after a collision between a car and a motorcycle near Leurbost, Lewis.
Police are anxious to trace the driver of the car involved and to speak to any witnesses who were at the scene.
The incident occurred between 8pm and 9pm on Friday evening between the Halfway Garage and Cameron Terrace.
Both vehicles were travelling in the direction of Lochs.
The motorcycle rider was hurt though his injuries are not life threatening.
Police ask anyone with information to call 101.
