Sir,

 

Alasdair Morrison stated in his letter “Our lifeline ferry services are too important to be manipulated for political gain and this must be about services and communities."

 

This is a sentiment with which I wholeheartedly agree, so I must ask him why he is attempting to manipulate this subject for political gain?

 

Is it because, so far, Labour has been unable to think of any policies of their own which do not mimic those of the Conservative party?
