A major search was launched for a man reported missing in South Uist.
The emergency services were alerted after concerns were raised about the welfare
of the 54-
Benbecula, Griminish and Lochboisdale coastguard teams undertook extensive foot searches in the south end area.
The Stornoway coastguard helicopter also carried out aerial sweeps over the island.
The missing man was found around 7am yesterday.
