A minibus carrying a group of students was badly damaged after a crash in the Western Isles.
The vehicle is said to be “undriveable” following the collision involving a truck in Carnish in North Uist.
Third year students from Edge Hill University in Ormskirk in West Lancashire were on a geography field trip in the Hebrides.
A university spokesperson said a truck was trying to overtake when the incident occurred.
She added: “No students were injured. They are all ok.
“A replacement minibus is being sent up to take the students home.”
A Police Scotland spokesman said the incident on Tuesday afternoon was reported to them.
