Rough seas and a high swell disrupted all ferries on Wednesday.

The Stornoway ferry only made one return sailing - departing at 1pm for Ullapool.

The Clansman cancelled her Lochboisdale call. She will now sail from Castlebay direct to Oban at 10am tomorrow. Thursday outbound ferry from the mainland is liable to cancellation as conditions are forecast to worsen then.

Bad weather meant restricted services on the Sound of Barra and on the Bereray- Leverburgh routes.

The MV Finlaggan’s departed Tarbert hours late and did not make a return trip. She only made one run instead of two to Lochmaddy, leaving Skye around 2.20pm.
