Mess Manager
Intro
Elior UK Services are looking for an enthusiastic Mess Manager who can deliver efficient
management of our Officers Mess, Sergeants Mess and our Junior Ranks areas. The successful
candidate will manage a team of 8-10 colleagues to deliver a high quality service
in our mess’s and accommodations to both civilian and military personnel. An understanding
of labour costs and stock control with good communication and organisational skills
would also be desirable.
Site/Location - West Camp, Hebrides Range.
Summary of Role
- To be responsible for managing a team to ensure delivery of innovative solutions
and quality service in line with business objectives and company standards to achieve
and maximise set targets.
- ·Establish and maintain a committed and engaged team.
- Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels
within the company and the client organisation.
- Implement and maintain the Statutory and Company standards of hygiene, health and
safety and take any action as is necessary.
- Responsible for managing a team and developing client relationships to deliver solutions
and quality service in line with business objectives and company standards to achieve
and maximize set targets
- Be flexible to provide services outside contracted working hours e.g. Reception,
functions, client entertaining.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
As Mess Manager you will be;
- Proactive in the management of Mess team. Responsible for recruiting, supporting,
training and people development to deliver an efficient, high quality service to
Elior UK, customer and client.
- Accountable for ensuring that all aspects of the ''Elior eXperience'' are communicated
and embedded within the team supporting the service champion as appropriate.
- Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal
and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational
excellence.

Experience and Qualifications
As Mess Manager we look for:
- Previous experience in a similar role (Desirable but not essential)
- Proven leadership and staff management
- Full UK driving Licence
Hours - Full Time
