The SNP in the Western Isles say they have experienced another surge in membership.
Over 50 islanders have joined the local branch in the past three months, bringing the total island membership to 703.
SNP candidate Angus Brendan MacNeil, said: “This is fantastic news and confirms what I have been hearing on the doors during this election campaign.
“Last week I had the pleasure of meeting a gentleman in his 80s, who has left the Labour Party to join the SNP. People are identifying with our positive campaign and daily we are seeing our membership increase.
“People from Ness to Vatersay know that a strong group of SNP MPs will ensure that our voice is heard at Westminster.”
