Meeting over St Brendan’s business case            28/5/14

A public meeting over progress on replacing St Brendan’s is being held in Castlebay School on Thursday evening.

The outline business case for the replacement health and social care facilities in Barra will be discussed at the meeting with senior staff from both NHS Western Isles and the Comhairle in attendance.

Chief Executive of NHS Western Isles, Gordon Jamieson, said: “We are now at a crucial stage of the project and we look forward to engaging again with members of the local community, so that everyone is kept fully informed about the project and the progress that is being made.

“At our next meeting, we will be sharing the key points in the Outline Business Case, which contains detailed information about what the new facilities could look like in the future. As always, there will also be the opportunity for people to ask questions.”
