A passenger with an eye injury was taken off a passing cruiseliner to hospital.
The casualty needed specialist medical after it was reported she had lost sight in one eye.
Stornoway lifeboat met the Fred Olson vessel, MV Boudicca which was heading north through the Minch, on a course between Belfast and Norway.
The woman transferred to the lifeboat off Skye and was taken to Stornoway harbour. She was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The casualty was later discharged and flew to the mainland on Monday.
