Man obstructed hospital staff 4/2/12
A Lewis man has been convicted of obstructing medical staff and police officers at the accident and emergency department of the Stornoway hospital.
George Macaulay of 4 Perceval Road, Stornoway went on trial at Stornoway Sheriff Court yesterday.
The incident occurred on 25th October when Macaulay hindered two medical staff and two police constables. He was shouting and swearing, and lay on the floor and persistently refused to get up.
Sentence was deferred for reports.
