MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Marybank, Stornoway

Competitive salary dependent on experience

…to join our team of passionate aquaculture professionals.

As this varied support role is essential to the smooth running of the facility, applicants must have a hands-on background in electro- and/or mechanical repair/maintenance. Ideally with electrical qualification to 17th Edition, the successful candidate will aim to make a positive contribution to the continued success of the business by reducing downtime due to mechanical issues.

Experience in a food processing environment and knowledge of food hygiene protocols would be useful but not essential as training will be given. Ideally, you will have been in a similar role where you have proven experience of immediate and planned maintenance/repair of plant and machinery including mechanical handling equipment. Working Monday to Friday, our engineers also operate an on-call rota which covers weekends so a current, clean driving licence is essential.

As with all of our roles, the successful candidate will be dedicated to providing the highest standards of service, committed to promoting the values of the company and the principles of our policy on Dignity at Work by showing respect for others and valuing teamwork.
