Maintenance Craftworker (Engineer/Mechanical)

Band 4: £20,302 - £22,910 plus £3,373 Recruitment & Retention Premium

37.5 hours per week

The Maintenance Craft worker (Engineer/Mechanical) will be part of a multi-skilled team within the Estates Department. The role involves planned maintenance, testing, diagnosis and repair of mechanical plant, equipment and installations. The post holder is expected to undertake new engineering installation works on buildings plant and equipment. The role involves the participation in an out-of-hours emergency service covering Lewis and Harris through an on-call rota system one week in seven.
