Luskentyre beach has been rated one of the “best of best” in the world by Tripadvisor, the global travel guide.
The stunning Hebridean beauty spot was placed 13th out of international beaches in the website’s Travellers’ Choice award.
Winners were calculated based on the quality and quantity of the millions of reviews, opinions and ratings collected on the site prior to the pandemic.
Luskentyre is a double award winner, after being also rated the third best in Europe, beating beaches in Spain, Italy and Greece.
Outstanding reviews from visitors consistently push the location high up the list.
One traveller gushed: “Absolutely gorgeous beach. You would think you were in the Caribbean as the sands are white and the water is a clear turquoise.”
