Loganair flights

Loganair said it is making major changes to its services on Friday due to adverse weather conditions.

Wednesday 21 December

An extra Glasgow-Barra service BE6849 will operate at 8am to accommodate customers hit by Tuesday’s cancelled flights.

A larger plane will operate flights BE6808 and BE6809 between Glasgow and Benbecula; and on the return flights to the central belt.

Larger aircraft which will carry more passengers are planned on the Glasgow-Stornoway and Glasgow-Benbecula flights. This aims to assist customers wishing to travel earlier in light of adverse forecast weather for Friday.

Friday 23 December

Significant changes to flight schedules due to severe weather forecast, particularly in the afternoon and evening.

Glasgow-Benbecula Will now depart Glasgow 11.40am (3 hours earlier)

BE6810 Benbecula-Glasgow Will now depart Benbecula 1.10pm (3 hours earlier)

BE6826 Glasgow-Stornoway Will now depart Glasgow 11.55pm (2 hours earlier)

BE6827 Stornoway-Glasgow Will now depart Stornoway 1.30pm (2 hours earlier)

BE6828 Glasgow-Stornoway Will now depart Glasgow 2.10pm (3h 35m earlier)

BE6829 Stornoway-Glasgow Will now depart Stornoway 3.45pm (3h 35m earlier)

BE6947 Edinburgh-Stornoway Will now depart Edinburgh 2.10pm, arriving 3.20pm (2h 45m earlier)

BE6948 Stornoway-Edinburgh Will now depart Stornoway 3.50pm, arriving 5pm (2h 45m earlier)

BE6957 Inverness-Stornoway Flight cancelled. Customers will be rebooked onto BE6955 departing Inverness at 2pm.

BE6958 Stornoway-Inverness Flight cancelled. Customers will be rebooked onto BE6956 departing Stornoway at 5pm.

Saturday 24 December

Loganair is expecting to run its published schedule on Christmas Eve. Weather conditions are currently indicating that this should be feasible.
