Over £1600 was raised for local charities during the recent 250th anniversary celebrations for Lodge Fortrose in Stornoway.
Cheques have been presetned to Alzheimer’s Western Isles, Stramash Community Services, Macmillan Nurses Western Isles, Lewis Retirement Centre, RNLI, Bethesda Hospice, Western Isles Kidney Patients Association, CRY, and Action for Children.
There will also be a donation to the Macleod and Macintyre families in Barra.
