Lochmaddy lamb prices down 10/9/14
Overall prices were down at Lochmaddy auction mart as a total of 4,000 store lambs were sold on Wednesday, September 3rd, according to the auctioneers.
A spokesman for Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd said: “An increased entry due to a larger percentage of twin lambs were shown in lesser bloom than usual resulting in an overall average decrease to £6.46.”
Top price of £70 per head were for Texel cross lambs from 1 Knockline, Bayhead.
