Residents of North Uist have a chance to view the proposals for the redevelopment of the Lochmaddy Hospital site.

The proposals will be on display at a community meeting in Carinish Hall on Tuesday.

People can hear about the business case and share their views with the steering group at the forum.

Following the meeting the proposals will be further refined to take on board community views and the steering group will take a decision on what happens next.

The proposals that will be presented to the community by the Urban Animation team have taken on board the feedback that was given during the consultation sessions in April and also wider consultations with representatives from a range of different stakeholders including North Uist Community Council, Taigh Chearsabhagh, Lews Castle College UHI and CnES.

The plans will be on view from 7pm. The consultants will give their presentation at 7.30pm to be followed by discussion with the Lochmaddy Hospital Redevelopment Steering Group.
