The Western Isles council SNP group would like to express their regret at the
council decision to go ahead with the closure of the secondary 1-
In keeping with our manifesto pledge to protect rural schools with our vote,
we were disappointed that the council went against the wishes of the community in
retaining the school in the heart of the community.
It has and will always be the
core of this group's manifesto in fighting for rural communities,
