Power cuts are likely to affect some island communities on Saturday with a new storm, bring high winds and lightning strikes, moving in.
Power firm SSE forecasts gusts up to 80mph may hit the Western Isles on Saturday.
The Met Office said: "Power supplies may be disrupted by ice accretion and also by lightning strikes, with hail also likely."
On Friday, lightning strikes and flying debris smashing into power lines damaged the network in the Lochcarnan and Iochdar area of South Uist at the peak of high winds.
Supplies were also cut off to properties near Stornoway including the Melbost, Steinish, Marybank, Newvalley and Newmarket districts.
Hydro engineers worked in freezing conditions and piercing hail showers to repair the faults and replace destroyed components.
Extra engineers have been drafted in from the mainland in advance of the severe weather.
